Sue V. Begay joined Dine’ College, Fall 2016 as a student under the Navajo Cultural Arts Program. She studied the art of making moccasins, basket making, and Navajo rug weaving. Spring 2017 she trained under Master Weaver, Barbara Teller Ornelas and Lynda Pete. The weaving workshop was sponsored by the Heard Museum. She also apprentice under Master Weaver, TahNibaa Naataani. Spring 2019 and Spring 2020 she studied under Master Weaver Barbara Teller Ornelas and Lynda Pete sponsored by the Heard Museum. As an emerging artist she continues to perfect her weaving..
