All pieces are hand-coiled, just as I learned by watching my grandmother Christina Naranjo. Each pot is unique as each step adds to its own mark to the overall finished piece. No two pots are ever the same, as conditions and numerous variables are attributed. Working with the clay keeps me connected to my family tradition, and culture. Through my art, I am able to share this significance.
