I love using color and design to create striking pieces of art and accessories. Geometric and clan-influenced traditional and designs of the southeastern Mississippian era have influenced my shell carvings and finger-woven items, both traditional and contemporary. My work ranges from ceremonial wear to contemporary fashion and jewelry as well as home accessories. I enjoy preparing the raw materials and creating art influenced by the motifs and cultural elements of the past but with new form and function.
