Ephraim ‘Zefren’ Anderson

He/Him/they    Prefer: Zefren

Yáʼátʼééh – Hello, I’m Zefren Anderson emerging Queer/Nádleehí Navajo (Dine) artist based in the Four Corners in the high desert plateau of the American Southwest. “Past threads,  Future Woven” best describes my art as I assemble Dine
historical,  pre-historic, anecdotal,  and living knowledge of our living culture.  The work produced by my abstract thoughts are expressed through fiber,  metal,  pigment  and a changing array of raw materials to find homes that understand the true beauty of my work.  Be they, simple utility, Avant guard and Archaic; my works will have a story to
tell. As Zefren-M,  my art strives to contribute,  elevate  and capture my life and experiences as a Navajo and in turn do the same for the Indigenous community.
