3-dimensional hand formed using processed native shale clay. Hand painted using an iron oxide paint mixed spinach for the black color. The colors are natural sand pigments strained to clay form.

The mission of the Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair & Market is to provide a marketplace for American Indian artists, provide a unique cultural experience for the public, create an enjoyable work environment for the volunteers, and to raise funds for the Museum’s general fund.
